Japanese R&B singer, LiLi Tokyo Dreamgirl releases her 5th single entitled “Bad Bye” on December 21, 2022 from the Japan based Indies label DME WORLD RECORDS. The song was written and produced by the Tokyo based American record producer VIRG who is also the music producer for her other hit songs SUSHI, INVISIBLE,TAKE YOUR TIME, and IN LOVE WITH THE DJ. This was her first release to receive number one on all three categories for Amazon digital sales including #1 for New Release, #1 for Best Sellers, and #1 for Movere and Shakers. 

 

INVISIBLE her 1st single was released on May 29, 2020 and featured two-time Grammy Award winner Fatman Scoop and reality TV show / rap diva, DreamDoll. The song was released from LINE RECORDS which is a part of the Japanese telecommunications giant, LINE. The song made it all made it all the way to #2 on the US iTunes Dance Chart.

 

SUSHI, Lili's 2nd single was released on July 23, 2021 and went all the way to number 11 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart.

 

Her 3rd single TAKE YOUR TIME was released on November 26, 2021 and featured the legendary rap duo Nice and Smooth. The song appeared on one of the official FUSION TV interviews for the blockbuster movie, Matrix Resurrections, with Keanu Reeves. 

 

LiLi's 4th single IN LOVE WITH THE DJ  released on November 29, 2022 from the Japan based Indies label DME WORLD RECORDS. IN LOVE WITH THE DJ combines old school hip hop, pop, and R&B to deliver a unique, refreshing, and powerful Alternative music track that will keep you dancing and singing along as you become addicted to its beautiful harmonies and melodies. This song was her first ever to receive #1 on both iTunes and Amazon for the highest digital download sales ranking award.

Early Life:

 

Kasumi Komine professionally known as LiLi Tokyo Dreamgirl was born on July 01, 1982 in Aichi, Japan. She moved at a young age 3 with her family to Tachikawa city in Tokyo. By the age of 13, she began pursuing her career as a performer. At age 18, she began to study voice and dance at the Tokyo School of Music (TSM), in Nishi Kasai, Tokyo.

 

From 2004-2014 LiLi performed at many events all over Japan as a dancer, singer, and sometimes DJ. In 2015 she was scouted by the Japan-based popular girls' group "Tokyo Dreamgirl”.

 

From 2015-2019 she worked closely with her manager and producer VIRG to record her original songs and perfect her craft as a singer and songwriter. After this she began her journey  as a professional recording artist launching her career from the DME WORLD international entertainment company.

 

LiLi continues to bring her very own style and finesse to build a bridge from Japan to the main stream global music world.
